Model 798 Handi-Logger
The Handi-Logger is the cost-effective way to automate the monitoring of any kind of field instrumentation. The Handi-Logger is a “plug-and-play” datalogger and alarm unit that is easy to use in even the most rugged environments. It combines a versatile CR10X datalogger, DC power supply, serial interface and optional autodialer – all mounted inside a waterproof fiberglass enclosure. Instruments and external multiplexers connect to your Handi-Logger via the clearly labeled internal wiring panel. Cell phone, modem, storage module and radio telemetry options are available for communication with your host computer. Six terminals are provided for activation of a wide range of alarm peripherals, including autodialers, horns and strobe lights. Combined with Applied Geomechanics’ LOG and TBASE II programs, the Handi-Logger is an off-the-shelf solution to any monitoring requirement.
